What is Koinonia?

The word "Koinonia" is an ancient Greek word meaning fellowship. When Koinonia is present, sharing and giving becomes tangible. Healing can begin; a new creation emerges. In the presence of Koinonia, or sharing and fellowship, an exchange of pain for healing takes place and a new path is forged; a path to new beginnings, restoration, and renewed strength to face the future with certainty, power, and the will to reclaim what God has for you.
  • 1 John 1:7

" . . . but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin."
  • Philemon 1:6

". . . and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ's sake."
  • 1 Corinthians 1:9

"God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."
  • Hebrews 13:6

"And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
